Recipe: Zinger Ginger Smoothie

When you’re looking to pack your nutrients in as quickly and conveniently as possible in a smoothie you can often end up with something that’s a bit of a chore to drink. That’s definitely not the case with the zingy ginger pineapple smoothie - a heavyweight nutrient-dense smoothie that still tastes light, refreshing and a tiny bit spicy thanks to the ginger. Add extra protein, collagen, or even more healthy fat and fibre with chia or flax seeds to keep your gut healthy and your energy levels up. 

(Serves 1)


  • ¼ cup frozen pineapple 
  • ½ banana 
  • ¼ cup coconut yoghurt 
  • 1 handful of baby spinach
  • 1 Shine Greens sachet
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger root, grated  
  • ½ cup coconut milk or coconut water 

Optional add-ins:

  • Protein or collagen powder
  • Chia seeds 
  • Flax seeds


  1. Add all ingredients into a blender
  2. Blend on high for 10 seconds or until smooth
  3. Serve in a tall glass and enjoy!
